INNER PRINCESS
It's safe to assume that disney princesses were a part of every girls childhood. From repetively watching the movies to owning enough mechandice, little girls can never seem to get enough of their favorite disney princess.
I wanna talk about my favorite, pocahontas.
I love her for a number of reasons. Firstly she was real, disneys adaptation of her story may have not been completly historically accurate, but for entaintament purposes they got it right.
I also love her because she didn't change fo her man, Ariel left the sea for Eric, Fiona became an olga for Sherk but she stayed in Virginia when John Smith left and in the end got man that left England for her.
The last reason I look up to her, was her ability to go with the tide. Her life, much like ours went through constant change, but through each phase she stayed true to who she was. She also learnt from each situation and used that knowledge to help with the next.
It may seem like I am reading too much in something that is just a movie, but I believe that the things we see, listen to and people we associate with eventaully make up who we are. We spend a significant amount of time watching and following our favorite movies, series, books, celebraties etc. I hope that the things you take in are all positive and build you up.
